Data Science is recognized as an emerging subject as per AICTE (https://www.aicteindia.org/sites/default/files/UG_Emerging.pdf), and the Data Science Lab is a critical component of the same. The proposed lab focuses on fundamental and applied concepts of Data Science and Machine Learning, aligned with the AICTE UG CSE 2022 Curriculum. The lab emphasizes hands-on learning through experiments covering data handling, visualization, preprocessing, machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and ethical considerations, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
